Remove Ubuntu (and GRUB) without Damages
Good evening ,
I have Ubuntu 8.04, and following a mishandling I rendered unusable. I therefore wish to uninstall (possibly) reinstall. But it is that I have a triple boot, which works like this:
GRUB boot-selection Ubuntu or Windows loader
windows-loader: choice between XP and Vista
And GRUB is installed in the MBR ...
My question is: how to remove Ubuntu, so GRUB without damage and leaving me the choice between XP and Vista at startup?

There is no need to uninstall it if you want to reinstall behind. You can even make a repair with the ubuntu cd.
Otherwise the following method Suggested by Lillebror

I also remove Ubuntu some time ago. Lillebror method works very well. Then you need only delete the partition with Ubuntu from Windows or from a Live CD or even reinstall Ubuntu. In choice.

Ok, thank you for all these answers.
It gives me the choice, I will just see it.
Thank you!
