Getting "Acquiring Network Address" on Linksys router
I have a laptop with Windows XP SP3 and I use a Linksys router (WAG54GS) for the internet connection. For the past few days, the wireless connection has been stopped on my laptop and just shows "Acquiring Network Address".
This is not the case if I connect my laptop by the network cable. It work perfectly. I changed my network SSID's on the router and the pass phrase but the problem still exists. The DHCP on the router is in the 192.168.1.x range.
Do anybody have this problem or had solved it?

Did you checked the Linksys site for this issue? I am sure there will be some settings issue which you will able to solve on Linksys site for that particular product.

I was also having similar problem problem after installing Windows XP SP3 on my desktop computer. I resolved this problem by upgrading the router's firmware and also its drivers. It worked like a charm.
