How to fix restore my active desktop error on Windows

I have a problem with desktop. Sometimes when there is no power, users who are member of domain usually they get an error like: "Restore my active desktop" and when we try to restore by clicking the button on desktop it open it one new window where is asked to run some sript, but the problem is that the script could not be executed. When I loggin with local account I dont see that error. So the users who are logged on the domain are part of domain with limited privileges. I have tryed to delete and change some files what I have read it through internet but nothing have been solved my problem. I have searched through internet and they show some explanation about this problem but none of them is for server, and my idea is that probably I have to do something on server to solve the problem.

You can use GPO for the same. It has option to enable or disable Active Desktop feature. I am going to provide you a link that can help you to troubleshoot the same. There are some settings which you have to enable to making changes to Active Desktop.

Customizing the Desktop

I am facing similar kind of problem with my desktop also. I am not able to get any privileges to make changes through GPO. I tried a number of different settings but nothing really worked out. I need some options that can help me to make changes in the GPO and modification to user profile.
