Missing Tabs in Display Properties
I was having a virus recently that among other things put its own wallpaper on my desktop. I was able to get rid of the virus and even delete the wallpaper file. But, I had to do that manually through Explorer. If I bring up the Display Properties window, either from right clicking on my desktop or from Control Panel > Display, I am missing the desktop and Screensaver tabs. I was expecting there is a place in the registry to turn these on or off, but just cannot seem to find where? Can anyone please help? Thanks.
Re: Missing Tabs in Display Properties
Check if one of the registry solution fixes this issue from the below website:
Download from line 128, right hand column, Restore Desktop and Screensaver Tabs
Download from line 285, right hand column, Restore All Display Tabs

RE: Missing Tabs in Display Properties
I was having some virus/malware in my computer today, and found a link to kellys corner. But can anyone tell me how to identify where it came from, since I was on a website when it happened searching for info on some drugs, I cannot remember the name of the website but I can tell something was happening and was trying to shut everything down very quickly? Please help.
