    The sleek Nokia E71 with full QWERTY keyboard and the stylish, slide-to-open Nokia E66 easily mobilize a broad range of personal or professional messaging needs, including Microsoft Exchange, the world's most widely adopted corporate email solution. The MRP of the Nokia E71 and the Nokia E66 are Rs. 22,949 and Rs 23,689, respectively.

With both of these devices, we have responded to consumer feedback by making calendar and contacts available at the touch of a button," said Devinder Kishore, Director-Marketing, Nokia India. "Equally important, people want well-crafted devices that are as beautiful to use as they are to behold. Stainless steel was chosen as the core material for these devices, giving them additional strength and a touch of class. Furthermore, the Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 offer all of the latest multimedia features that people desire."


    Measuring 107.5 x 49.5 x 13.6 mm, the newly launched E66 is a voice-centric slider that comes equipped with an orientation sensor, which automatically optimizes itself for full screen viewing or activates the silent mode when the mobile phone is turned over.

    In contrast, the E71 measures 114 x 57 x 10 mm, and lets users to edit MS Office documents.

    Both the handsets support maps, music and media sharing, which includes HSDPA browsing, Bluetooth 2.0, Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900, wireless LAN and 3G connectivity, automatic switching between GSM bands and Nokia Mobile Search option.

    In addition to a 3.2MP auto focus camera, 2.5mm jack and IrDA, the phones also supports lots of office tools including QuickOffice, Zip Manager, PDF reader and Notes.

    Both the handsets easily mobilise a wide variety of personal or professional messaging needs that includes Microsoft Exchange, the world’s most widely adopted corporate e-mail solution.

    According to Mr. Kishore, “Enterprise mobility is here to stay in India with wider acceptance of push e-mail among corporates and prosumers (professional consumers). With these two new devices, we are well positioned to address the needs of consumers, high-end users and mobile professionals alike.”

    The phones can easily download attachments such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint or PDF files directly and also support third party email solutions like Seven and Visto.

    The E71 and the E66 will be available in grey and white colours across the country for Rs 22,949 and Rs 23,689 respectively.
