Information on Motorola ZN200
Motorola ZN200 has been spotted passing the FCC hurdle. But before you get too excited — if you do at all — you should know it's a mid-range device, sporting such specs as a 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and video recording capability, Bluetooth, 2.5mm audio jack. In a nutshell - just like we knew, there's nothing spectacular about it.
Released in the US or not, the ZN200 seem to be a mid to low-end device. Unlike the other known Moto which has "ZN" in its name, the 5 Megapixel ZN5 candybar, the ZN200 doesn't bring too many advanced features. Still, by reading the phone's users manual, we can see that Motorola promises users a "rich music experience" coming with this handset.
Besides the above-mentioned details, the User Manual of ZN200 also says that the handset features the following: dual-band GSM connectivity (850 / 1900 MHz) with EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music player with support for MP3, WAV and MIDI, Media library, Windows Media Player 11 compatibility, FM radio with preset stations, a 2.5mm headset jack, a 2 Megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording, photo album and photo editor, Web browser, mobile email, USB, microSD card support (but only up to 2GB), handsfree, pre-installed games, organizer, calendar, alarm clock, and other basic features of this type.
The ZN200 comes in a slider form factor and, although its dimensions are not known yet, it doesn't seem to be too big. The phone offers a 5-way navigation key "a la Moto," a web dedicated key and a sliding alphanumeric keypad that looks to be quite easy to use. Furthermore, there's a display that probably has 2 or 2.2 inches and a maximum resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
It's good to see Mototola's still alive. Now, it's all about being patient enough until they roll-out that 5 megapixel Kodak-branded shooter, which unlike the ZN200 sounds like a promising handset.
