winxp doesn't recognize my mp4 flash memory player

I formatted my mp4 flash memory player.the size is 8 GB. and the model is samsung YP-T10.I can't see the drive. The computer detects and says unknown device.what can i do. The disk management is also not showing the drive letter. I couldn't assign a letter
