    Affection Eee Asus PC 900

The new generation of PC Eee will come very soon in our regions, Asus has also published today the specification of this new model of economic laptop. Contrary to what had been announced, Eee PC does not carry a 900 Intel Atom, but a Celeron M running at 900 MHz. It will be supported by a GB DDR2 memory and a graphics chip integrated Intel GMA.

The display changes with a screen of 8.9 inches (compared to 7 inches before) and a resolution of 1024 x 600. The camera on the screen today has a resolution of 1.3 Megapixels.

Two versions will be offered: one shipped with Linux and associated with 20 GB of Flash memory (4 GB soldered on the motherboard and 16 GB associated with a PCI-Express. Windows version will be limited to 12 GB of memory (4 G B welded + 8 GB in the form of additional cards).

The touchpad has also changed and now has the function FingerGlide "multitouch a technology that is not unlike that of Air MacBook and that allows you to make zoom and scroll pages / photos with just the use of two fingers. All weigh 0.99 kg and provide a theoretical autonomy of 3.5 hours.

In terms of connectivity include the presence of 3 USB ports, a VGA output, an Ethernet port and an 802.11b WiFi / g. The date of availability for the France and the price are not yet formalized. There is talk, however, when it is available for late April / early May and prices ranging from 20,000 to 28,000.
