Reliance India Mobile: Pre paid to post paid

    Hi,
After having been a GSM user for sevral years, I have finally decided to take the plunge and shifting to CDMA now....

I thought that I'll pick up a pre-paid to start with and shift to post paid after a month or so if i like the experience....The dumb $%#@! reliance guys say that u can shift from post- to pre but not vice-versa....That's kinda counter-intuitive...isn't it?

Apparently, they lock ther pre-paid nos to a set phone number and you can't use a new GSK (Get started kit) postpaid pin on the same handset....

Is there any way I can free up a pre-paid handset and use the same handset for taking a new post-paid connection at a later date? (For Reliance India mobile)

Tata Indicom seems to better in terms of service quality ...But they lose ou on two fronts:
    - Coverage
    - Net access
