Want some help to update firmware of Acer Liquid E2 DUO

I want a bit help with updating firmware of Acer Liquid E2 DUO smartphone. I want to upgrade that to the latest one but it is not working well. I am not able to find any zip file for the same. The current version that I have in my phone is Acer_AV061_V370_1.005.00_EMEA_CSM. I am trying to play some games which are freezing a lot and I am not able to move ahead.

You can only find the updates if it is officially released. The second place is to check on the acer website. If the firmware is available for download then there you can get that and install it in your phone. Or else there is nothing you can do. There will be a bit issue with some games in it. You can skip that and install some other. But for the firmware thing better wait back. Acer will announce if they are releasing a new firmware for this device.

There is no update available for Acer Liquid E2 DUO. Even I am searching for the same from long time. I visit the official forum regularly to find whether any new things is released for this device. But there is nothing. Some contributors says that there will be no update ever. You have to go with the rooting stuff. Using a custom rom or something can help you to get the new firmware. That is only going to help.

Acer provides a download for Acer Liquid E2 V370. You can get Android Jellybean 4.2 ROM for that from the official website. The file name is Acer.AV061.V370.1.023.00.WW.GEN1 and the size is around 410 MB. This was last released on 2013/11/27 and after that there is no other things are provided. So it looks Acer no longer provide any new updates on this device
