Blackberry Messenger coming soon to Samsung Galaxy devices

Couple of months ago blackberry officially announced that hey will officially release BBM messenger for Android and iOS devices. So far Blackberry Messengers were seen only on their blackberry devices but now Samsung is almost ready to implement Blackberry Messenger on their Galaxy series of smartphones. If they did this, Samsung will be the first to get BBM out of Blackberry smartphones. Though they haven't provided any fix release date for the BBM Messengers on Galaxy Smartphones but they said that BBM will be available globally towards the end of summer. Well we can wait and watch.

Thats really a good news but somewhere i read this official statement by samsung spoke person:

It will be available in the Google Play and the Samsung App store soon and available to all Samsung GALAXY smartphone consumers across Africa.

Does this means that the app will be available on for African customers? What about other millions of users?

Of course Samsung is not fool to launch it only for Africa. By that statement they meant that BBM Messenger will first be revealed in that region and later will follow other countries.

They will make the app available on Google Play as well as on their own ‘Samsung App store’.

You are correct DanielV. They have so many users around the world, how can they release it just for few people in just one region. Anyways, what you guys thing is Samsung going to provide in BBM for Galaxy Phones? I means, in Blackberry phones, BBM messenger supports text messaging, voice chat, video chat, screen sharing and more. Are we going to get all those features or something extra for other Smartphones as well?

Yes, we will get all those features in the stand alone apk installer as well the one we will get from Samsung store or Google Play because that is the reason BBM is so popular in Blackberry market. According to the sources we will also get BBM social network, BBM chats, multi-person chats and BBM Groups.
