How is the performance of the stock Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

I have read many reviews of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on internet on various websites. Many of these reviews had pointed out many negative points about the tablet pc. Some of the websites had mentioned that tablet is somewhat slower than others. With a processor of frequency of 1.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM and large amount of memory space, I don’t think that this is true. Maybe the person who had reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 had filled apps which must have made it slow. Can someone tell me how is the performance of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 when out of the box?

Though Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has got any negative reviews by many people and critics; I think that this tablet is very good and much better than what people are saying about it. You can’t expect Samsung to deliver a bad product when just out of the box. Also I have used many products manufactured by Samsung and I have never been disappointed by it. I don’t think that any company will manufacture bad products; it is the user’s point of view that makes it bad. Also if the user doesn’t make proper use of the gadget, it is bound to get spoiled. So I think you shouldn’t underestimate or type cast Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 just because someone said so.

When Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is taken out of the box and started, it doesn’t give any problem. Everything works smoothly and according to what is mentioned in the manual and the product demonstrations. The touch of the display and its working is very smooth, the in-built applications run smoothly; the camera works as it should. But as you go on filling the memory with stuff like apps, music, videos and so on, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 starts becoming slow. Not that with every song it goes down, but once you have filled too much stuff, it will slow down a bit.

Every process needs to access supporting data and processes. Thus every time you add a song or video in the tablet PC, the media player will keep them scanning. So every time you start the tablet, the media player will scan for these files so that when you start it, you get your music and other entertainment stuff handy. Similarly, if you have installed more than one media player in your tablet PC, then all those media players will scan the audio and video files during startup. Also with multiple apps, some apps will scan for internet connection on startup whole some apps will scan for certain data on the tablet PC. This whole stuff makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 slow.

The S-Pen that is being given with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is one thing that doesn’t work properly when the tablet is just brought outside the box. I think Samsung should have given more tie for the development of the S-Pen as it is the only thing that doesn’t live up to the expectations. After using Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with the S-Pen, you will wish to switch to the usual paper and pen. It is not good for sketching both useful for professional use and so on. But the other features are good and they are exciting to use.
