Remap multitask button on HTC EVO 4G LTE

I just have bought this phone. I love the feature in the phone really awesome. But there is two thing that really bother me a lot. First is the design of the back panel and second is the menu button or search key which must not be included. No doubt the phone is awesome but this thing is little downside of the phone. The fact that I use the search button more than the multi task. Is there any way that we could remap the multitask button to the menu after rooting the phone off .

I agree with you on this, well I never used it but I don’t like to have the dedicated multitasking. I will prefer the menu rather. The long press of the home button is what I actually like. I had never used the search button. Not using the home button that much either. I don’t understand why do we required to access that screen so much.

Multiple uses on the one button is the very great thought that the HTC have every made, well now it feels that there is no need for that but in the coming future this will be very handy. With that been said , I suggest that you install the AOKP in the phone which may be helpful for you to assign multiple functions.
