Bios update for MSI G41M4-L

I am having the MSI G41M4-L motherboard. I want to update my bios but the problem is that I don't know how to update the bios. I have also heard that the bios update gives error like PC crash, reporting that the cpu is incorrect etc. can anyone help me in updating the bios of my motherboard?
