Toshiba Excite tablet has no microphone support?

I was just going through the user guide of Excite and found out that voice input and Voice search app is present on the device but they don’t work actually. Even there is no Microphone none is shown in the manual and can’t even find it in the device can anyone guide me in this regards may be I think that Toshiba Excite Tablet has no microphone support. When I touch the mic icon I get a message “Audio Problem” I am unable to see any microphone opening.

The microphone does work properly. Might be some of the app might have caused the problem uninstall all the apps and restore the device once and this will work for sure. Try using camera application to shoot a video. Make some noise while recording and then play the video may be you will be able to hear the sound. Try it will work as it did for me so hope it works for you also and try and again go through the manual from the internet.
