Samsung Galaxy S III camera has similar image sensor as the Galaxy SII?

Hello friends I want to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S III. I want to buy this phone because it the latest and the sensors used in this phone are remarkable. I heard about the camera sensors are exactly same as in Samsung Galaxy S II. Is that true that the camera sensor in Samsung Galaxy S III is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S II?

Yes I think that the camera used in the Samsung Galaxy S III is same as in Samsung Galaxy S II. In Samsung Galaxy S II they have given 8 Megapixel camera and in Samsung Galaxy S III they have also provided same 8 Megapixel camera. I don’t think that there may be any difference in the camera as I am using the Samsung Galaxy S II and I am satisfied with the camera of it. The pictures taken from the Samsung Galaxy S II are very good and clear. I think that they may have introduced new feature in the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S III.

No the camera used in Samsung Galaxy S III is different than the Samsung Galaxy S II. The camera in Samsung Galaxy S III is not same as in Samsung Galaxy S II it is different. They have made the camera to record HD videos @30fps. The clarity in the picture is different than the Samsung Galaxy S II camera. Samsung Galaxy S III provides 8 megapixel camera but with zero shutter lag. Samsung Galaxy S III uses S5C73M3 sensor and Samsung Galaxy S II uses S5K3H2YX sensor. The sensor used in Samsung Galaxy S II is similar as in HTC one x not in Samsung Galaxy S III.
