Nokia N8 4g issues please help !!!

Hello Friends,

I have recently purchased Nokia N8, I am really happy to use this mobile, I just got a thought in my that whether nokia n8 supports the 4g network or not. I am currently using telstra 850 network, I am currently located in Australia, I am sure that the telstra support the 4g network on 2100 frequency. Even Nokia n8 support both 850 and 2100 am i right here ? So I hope my nokia n8 will work on 4g network.

As far as I know Nokia Mobile Phone doesn't Support 4g at all. I am sure that Nokia N8 and Nokia E7 support 3.5G, but not 4g.

The N8 whilst its not compatible with 4G at all, it is possible if 4g service are there on there way. Its bascially like 2g cells are upgraded to 3g cells, all cells work on different frequency on the 3g network. Nokia n8 is a pentaband phone so its able to get the extra freqencies so its a advantage for you, mostly frequencies get penetration in to bldg, so if you want to maintain a good quality so you have step back to a 2g signal.

You know nokia has released Nokia Lumia 900, In nokia lumia 900 US version 4g is supported.
