opera mini does not run in micromax x550

I am trying to install opera mini 6.5 on my micromax x 550.it is neither installing nor running the previous version.how do i get back the previous opera mini?

Can you just elaborate your issue in more detail?? are you getting any error message when you are trying to install opera mini 6.5? have you tried installing other higher version of opera in your phone?? what happens when you are trying to run previous version?

Actually,when i run opera it starts installation which never ends.It keeps installing and installing.I have waited like one hour to see what happens .but nothing happens except installation.

The installation process will start once it is downloaded so if you are having problem with the installation process then you can try downloading it again.The installation process do take some time but then it should not got for hours as you have mentioned.

I am using opera mini 4.5 at this moment.But the built in opera does not run.I've tried downloading another browser the same version which responces in a same way.

Are you having any issues in installing any other app from you phone?? if yes then check out the gprs setting.

No .I can install other softwares and i have also checked the gprs settings.

That's really weird, is there any possibility of corrupt download and so?? from which site you are trying to download the opera browser??? have you tried out getjar or mobile 9 site??
