Getting Vertical Line in Lenovo ThinkPad T400s

Hello I have got this ThinkPad 2 years before and everything working fine without an issue. I have used this for office and I have not installed any high end software but from last week I am facing the blue Vertical Line in screen and sue to that I am not able to work properly. I have seen this issue with lots of Lenovo ThinkPad T400s users and till now Lenovo support doesn’t solved this issue. So can anyone suggest me possible solution to this issue and so that I can solve my problem. Because notebook is outside of warranty, due to this I am not able to replace or repair. Thanks for any advice on how to approach this!

The vertical line issue on the screen may be due to the software incompatibilities with the computer's drivers to hardware problems, so therefore you should check all this. Generally there are two solutions to solve this issue i.e. updating your video card drivers to the latest version. So I would like to suggest you to make update your video card drivers latest from official site and after that go through your issue.
