Battery Life of HTC One S

I am planning to buy this HTC One S Smartphone as it has good specification like it has Gorilla Glass it has good HTC Sense UI, it also have good 8 Megapixel camera which has 3264*2448 Pixels, autofocus, LED Flash, not only this much it also have good Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face and smile detection and it comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) it has a Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon chipset and also a great Dual core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU. Not only that much it also have good memory of 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory so I don’t think it is necessary to root also. But I just have one question after having so many amazing features can anyone let me know about its battery life. As I know that Android mobile battery life is really very bad. So if they are providing so many good features why they are not able to give good battery life so can anyone let me know is HTC One S has a good battery life and if not then please advise me how to get good battery life or which mobile is better as per its battery life. As I have to use my phone for almost more then 3-4 hours for calling and more 2-3 hours for using internet and if I get time then play some games. So will the battery last for long time.

Using specially designed app, that can extend the battery life of your Android Smartphone, you can download for free or for a fee directly from the 'Android Market. One of the best known is certainly Juice Defender, whose logic is operating in the automatic deactivation of functions, keeping in mind how much battery is missing. An example will illustrate better ideas: whether out of the house you forgot to charge your Smartphone Android and the battery is less than an hour of battery life, Juice Defender disable the connection, so no need to use external batteries. On the Android Market will also release "Ultimate", available at 4.99 euros. The presence of a greater number of functions, all fully customizable and extremely effective, is what differentiates the paid version of Juice Defender than free.

Would like to give you some tips to increase battery life.
First point, using the internal battery meter. Android comes around a meter, you can find it in Settings -> About Phone -> Batteries -> Usage Here you can see that consumes more battery on Android.

Second point, turn off Wi-Fi when not in use: Settings -> Network, Wi-Fi is necessary for high-speed connections at home or office, but outside of them, constantly looking for new Android Wi-Fi networks that consumes the battery.

Third Point, turn Bluetooth off: Settings -> Network, Bluetooth usually is not very used daily and only the fact of being activated in standby consumes energy. Can also be disabled on main Widget.

Fourth point, Widget Energy or Power and Brightness Display. This may activate and deactivate Widget, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, plus the brightness of the screen, all, very energy-hungry functions. The brighter the screen, more power consumption.

Fifth item, Email, if you have configured an email account and do not need constant check the mail, you can disable it in Accounts and Settings -> Mail or Email. If it is important for you to receive mail, select the shortest time possible, for example 15 minutes instead of every 5. Every time you connect to Internet email consume large amounts of energy.

Sixth point, Facebook, the Facebook application checks in the background, constantly for status updates, you can choose the intervals on Facebook's internal settings.

Seventh item, Task Manager, it is one of the 10 needed Android applications, we found at ATK (Advanced Task Killer) a super app needed to close any applications you no longer need and save battery.

Eighth item, Animated Wallpapers. The animated wallpapers are very entertaining but consume large amounts of energy, it is best to disable them.

Ninth item, GPS, as mentioned above, the GPS chip needs to be connected to global positioning satellites to get an exact location, usually takes between 4 and 6 satellites also uses the Internet connection to speed up the process of obtaining position, as expected much energy is used in this process.

Tenth item, 3G and the Internet. One of the advantages of 3G, better quality voice and data (Internet), but is a major reason for the poor battery life, turn off the 3G could double or triple what the battery life between charges.
