SMS received very late on my Lumia 800

Dont know what went wrong with my new Lumia 800. My problem is that all SMS messages are hitting my phone very late, its too much time to get in my inbox. I know it is not big issue but I want to know if any solution on that. Data loss problem is occurred due to this lagging.

Even i had the same problem with my device. I just made slight changes in my setting. I think you should try this.

Check time zone location which is set for your mobile. if it is selected to your country time zone then it will create lagging problem. So make a correct time zone and avoid lagging problem.

This is wireless traffic issue. It is same like blocking or waiting call procedure happened during a peak hours. So don’t worry, it is not your mobile fault. It is a network problem; just call your network service provider. They will solve the problem as soon as possible. Simply switch off your mobile for some time. After switching on your mobile device retrieve any pending sms.
