Driver power state failure message in Compaq Presario CQ60

I am new to computers , so i don't know much about it. But from the last few days my computer automatically restarts on its own.I get this strange blue screen with a lot of white letters written on it just before it shuts down. I have never seen any thing like this before so i am a little confused as to what it is.Also i managed to somehow read a little bit of what was written on the blue screen before the shutdown. It said Driver power state failure with a lot of numbers and letters following it.

Can any one please help me out here, as i don't know a thing about it.

It must be the blue screen of death. It usually occours when a certain driver crashes or it can also be caused due to overheating of physical components.

Follow these easy steps to make sure your PC never crashes.
1. Update your BIOS.
2. Always keep your operating system updated.
3. Keep all the drivers for all the hardwares you install manually up-to-date.

I think the probable cause of the problem is the driver failure and not overheating.

I just mentioned all the causes that can cause BSODs. And i do understand that the problem has been caused by a driver failure.That is why i also mentioned to keep all the drivers as well as the operating system updated as sometimes even they can cause problems.
