Recovering CWM in LG Spectrum

Guys any idea on how to recover the CWM, well I know this is a very difficult question to ask with you all but any of you all who are having some ideas about the same then do let me know as soon as possible, that’s what I am saying here.

Well let me help you with this one. First of all get this necessary file download in the system, here is a downloadable link for you.

- Now save the following file in the adb directory.

- Ensure that your phone is connected to the system in the debugging mode and you have rooted the phone.

- Work on the following commands
adb push cwm_touch.img /sdcard/cwm_touch.img
adb shell
su
mount -orw,remount /dev/block/system /system
rm /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
dd if=/sdcard/cwm_touch.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13
exit
exit
adb reboot recovery

- Now after the above command your phone would reboot and you should be able to get into the CWM recovery touch.

Hey dude I did try this method as given by you still I am getting a blanck screen at the end what should I do, any suggestions?

No need to worry on this dude it means that your phone has remained on for a longer period of time and hence I would say switch it off for sometime and then turn it on. Try the adb reboot recovery command again. in case if that does not work out for you then I would say try looking for some other programs like Rom Manager to get into recovery. Hopefully that would be useful for you.

Hey I have got another method hopefully it should work out for you. First of all download the file that I have given as an attachment over here. put that file in the sd card when you are trying to install the recovery . now in the CWM
- Go to the following file install zip from sd card
- Now choose zip from the sd card and look out for the file cwm_bootloop_fix.zip
- If found then click on it. Confirm your option selected. Then allow it to continue its process. Once it is done, go back to the main menu and then reboot it.
- Hope it works.
