I heard about this update but I am not at all aware where and how to find this. I have no better solution than to ask on this forum.
I would appreciate prompt helps and I’m sorry if this is too small an issue to entertain.

If and only if yes, then click here or else give me proper details of what you want.
Yes. This is exactly what I want. I confirmed from the specification on the download page too.
I have downloaded successfully, what next?
How do we actually install it?
Yeah! That’s a bit complicated. However, this is how you should be doing it.
- The first thing to do is to download the file that I asked you to, you said you’ve done that.
- Now, install the file into your PC
- Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader spot the file ‘Vendor.xml’ and delete it.
- Connect your device, and run the file ‘Loader.exe’. you’ll find it exactly from where you deleted vendor.xml
Done!
I have to rush to office in say next 15 minutes. How much time should it take? Trying to ask if I should start the installation now or if it takes lot of time should I be doing it later?
I don’t think you should be doing this now because it might take anything between 45 minutes to an hour to complete the process. However, it depends on the size of the data that you have to backup and restore. The device might reboot twice during the entire process after the entire procedure’s done, you will come across a black Blackberry screen which’ll last upto 20 min and will read ‘waiting for initialization’.
And if at all you are unlucky enough to see a white creen with small icons and the number 507 you’ll actually have to sit and redo everything.
