Little has changed in size. Both are 109 x 60 x 14 mm. Also, the weight is as good as the same. This is of course in relation to each other, because the design of the two's curve is essentially unchanged. "Change is no formula for success," RIM will have thought

Another similarity is the screen. Although the display on the latest Curve is slightly smaller (it saves only 0.1 "), the display format of course a fine to the internet or emails and watch videos. The number of colors remains the same and this also applies to the resolution. The trademark of the curve is of course the physical QWERTY keyboard. an email, tweet or SMS is thus in no time typed and sent.

Both devices have WiFi. This device is so easy to connect to wireless networks at home, at work or in public spaces. Bluetooth is the same version (version 2.0) is present on both the Curve 8520 as the Curve 3G. Standard features like an MP3 player and FM radio are also not forgotten. The desire of many, was an improvement of the built-in camera. At the 8520 has a 2MP camera and here there is unfortunately no change . Features such as push email is also found on both phone .

the main difference between the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 and BlackBerry Curve 8520 is that with the latest model - as the name suggests - can access the Internet through the 3G (with HSDPA) network. Previously, only high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi networks, but thanks to this upgrade, you can use the Curve everywhere speed mobile surfing. Another nice addition is GPS. This makes several things possible. So you have access to geo-tagging and with the addition of BlackBerry Maps you have a standard navigation system in your pocket. And you can in the BlackBerry App World again choose from several other navigation systems.

Large differences between the talk and standby time of both devices do not exist. The Curve 8520 offers 270 minutes and 408 hours respectively. The Curve 3G offers 456 hours of standby time and 330 minutes talk time. Yet these differences are relatively, because it depends heavily on your own use, which networks you use and how fast your battery wear. The processor is also slightly improved. Thus, the new Curve 3G has a 624MHz processor and the CPU of the Curve 8520 a capacity of 512MHz.

A significant difference is the operating system. The Curve 3G runs on the latest BlackBerry OS 6.0, while his predecessor in its release had to do with OS 4. Meanwhile there is already a 5.0-update to download, but this takes the course, not the latest OS 6.0. Below is a video of BlackBerry OS 6.0 is proposed to you.

The main difference between the phone is

    • 3G (with HSDPA)
    • GPS
    • BlackBerry Maps
    • Longer battery life (differences are small)
    • Better processor (624MHz)
    • BlackBerry OS 6.0

there is virtually no difference in appearance between the two phones. So both have smartphones with a full QWERTY keyboard and both screens are equal. Both screens are even exactly the same when it comes to the resolution (320 x 240 pixels). Also the size and weight of the two curve-models are identical. So we have to really dig deeper if we want the differences between the two models to explore.

re: Blackberry curve 8520 vs. BlackBerry curve 9300

The first, may be small, a difference which is to note is, the processing speed. The processor of the Curve 8520 works on 512 Mhz and the Curve 9300 is better endowed with a 624 Mhz processor. Now this difference in the daily practice are not appreciable, but it is already here to note that the Curve 9300 a bit more developed. For the real lover smartphone and mobile Internet today Curve 9300 still seems the better choice, because this model over a 3G connection. This is a great loss for that matter on the Curve 8520. This has the Curve 9300 over its competitor in this equation it directly in our opinion a big lead. If you look at that mobile internet is increasingly used, it is also good to have a connection via UMTS

the Curve 9300 also features a standard GPS antenna. This unfortunately also missing on the Curve 8520. For those who are so happy Smartphone also want to use for navigation purposes can better tackle the Curve 9300 with integrated GPS antenna. Of course it is also possible to connect an external GPS antenna to buy it via Bluetooth to link to the Curve 8520, but it still works finer for the GPS antenna into the device to use. Also, we note that Bluetooth and WiFi are slightly improved in terms of support on the Curve 9300. Thus, the Curve 9300 Bluetooth 2.1 on board, while the Curve 8520 to make do with Bluetooth 2.0. Incidentally, you will in practice there is little affected by this.

I think you must go to Upgrade your Phone, because new version keep better OS 6.o, better talk time, Long battery life, improved screen size and Color display for the purpose of proper emailing and Internet Surfing. Blackberry GPS tracker and Maps. These extraordinary feature are more compelling and want to attract more user's.
