Cannot install Bluetooth Driver R285455 (WIDCOMM) on Dell Latitude E6410 running windows 7 X64

In my Dell Latitude E6410 laptop I have windows 7 X64 installed. I am facing problem while installing Bluetooth Driver R285455 (WIDCOMM) in my laptop. In my laptop while trying to install drivers I get “1935" error. please let me know what should I do to solve this problem?

If after trying above solution also if you face same problem again then you should perform SFC scan in your laptop. By running SFC scan will replace all the incorrect file with correct version. May be after performing the SFC scan you will not get this problem.

To run SFC scan you have to follow this steps.

• Type cmd in start menu search box and press enter.
• Command prompt windows will appear and you have to type sfc /scannow
• Press enter.
• Now you will see “The system scan will begin” message.
• If it detects any file corrupted then it may ask to insert window 7 installation DVD.
• If it does not detect anything then you will get “Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations"

After reading above solution I have first tried to solve this problem by clearing the system transaction log laptop. After clearing system transaction log also I get same problem. now after that I have also tried to fix this problem by running SFC scan but result was same. Is there any other way to solve this problem?

According to me you should perform clean boot in your laptop and after performing clean boot in your laptop you have to try to install the drivers in your laptop and then you have to check whether you get same error or not? if you don’t get same error after doing that then it means any other software in your laptop causing this problem.

Hello friends I am also having same problem in my Dell laptop. While installing Bluetooth Driver R285455 in my laptop I am also getting same error. I have tried all the possible solution and also run SFC scan but problem does not get solved. How can I solve this problem?

Have you tried Bluetooth Software from official site of the broadcom? If you have not tried then I will suggest you to download broadcom Bluetooth Software and try to install that and check whether it makes any difference or not?
