Not getting Reception properly on Samsung Galaxy Y

Hello friends, I have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Y a month ago and i am facing the problem of the reception. I mostly loose the signal of the phone for mostly of the 4 - 5 time in a day. So to get the signal back i will have to restart the phone. So does anyone has also facing the same problem which i am getting it. So is there any solution to solve it. Please help me, thank you.

I am also using the phone and i have not the problem at all, i think it might be the issue of the network carrier which you are using, i always get the good signal not even a signal time the network goes away.

There was the problem with it and i have to do it 6-7 time restart of the phone, but i was able to find the solution to the problem. If you get the update of the phone then you better do it, as it is the solution which solves the problem. I have done the update of 2.3.5 to 2.3.6. then after that i was not able to get the problem at all and even there was no need to do restart of the phone

you just check the network of the phone and see that you are getting the proper network in your area where you are right now staying and it will solve all your doubts.

I was also facing the same issue.

Choosing the network operator solved the issue for me.

Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks
> Network Operators > Choose your operator
