apple iPad 3 tends to be slower then iPad 2

as we all know that the apple ipad 3 may be somewhat faster and quicker in processing than the ipad 2 , this is not in my case as I recently received my new iPad 3 which I mainly bought because of 4G as well as faster net access. Later I performed a speed test by means of the speedtest application for both ipad 2 as well as ipad 3 next to each other together with prepaid Telstra micro sim along with it came to my notice that the iPad 3 is not faster at all but it will tend to appear often slower. Can you suggest some reasons behind this as to solve it by me itself. Please provide some measures so as to solve it by myself. Thanks .

As it has found from some sources that the new iPad as well supports dual cell HSDPA and HSPA+ (which is in fact considered to be 4G).CPU speed is the similar on the new iPad but GPU is double the speed as well as the new iPad as well has 1 GB RAM rather than that of the 512 MB the iPad 2 has. The supplementary RAM along with the quicker GPU speed should in fact build the new iPad faster in several ways but the latest Retina display sort of eats up a number of GPU juice certainly.
