Apple iPad 3 vs iPad 2

Currently I am using iPad 2 and now thinking to get the iPad 3 but I am unsure that if getting the iPad 3 really worth and how it is good as compared to the iPad2. So I have started this thread to compare between these two. I will be thankful if someone of you over here can compare these two in any aspect.

We have donean interesting test for comparing the browsing speed in 3G (4G regarding the new iPad) between the 3rd generations of the Apple tablet. We see the full potential of the new 4G technology capable of downloading and uploading of data much faster than an ADSL. Obviously the iPad of first and second generation cannot compete ipad 3 at all. So ipad 3 has come with a great improvement.

One of the biggest innovations in the "new iPad 3" is the massively improved main camera on the back. If you see the photos taken on the same location at same lights and all then you will clearly see the difference between the camera qualities. So camera is one of the most important things that make it really interesting.

iPad 3 is surely better as compared to the ipad 2. We will have better idea of this if we can take a look at the specification of these two. So I am posting the specification of both of them and you can make out yourself that which is the better one. For me, it goes to the iPad 3.

That the "new iPad 3" now comes up with a better camera and this was not a very big surprise. Although tablets in general are not often used as a camera, but once they found themselves in distress to take a photo with his iPad 2, the result was disappointing to say the least.

Ipad 3 is really good as compared to the ipad 2 as it is its improved version but what if we compare the same with the iPhone 4S. The main camera module in the new iPad is similar to that of the iPhone 4S. The built-in camera 5-megapixel sensor is slightly smaller than the failed high-end sensor of the iPhone 4S with its 8 megapixels. The camera of the iPad 3 does not provide quite as high-contrast photos like those of the iPhone 4S but that is good enough to take clear photos.

The screen is the most important and impressive improvement of the iPad 3. The Apple iPad 3 has made great step in the field of computing power. The dual-core processor running at 1.08 GHz and has a quad-core integrated GPU, especially for games and movies performance. This is also required in view of the display. Also in the field of mobile networks, the iPad 3 faster than the iPhone 2, iPhone 3 as it features namely about 4G LTE data speeds. Unfortunately, there are no available 4G and for the use of this technique; one has to have to wait.

The screen and the processor use more battery energy and so it become important to provide battery with larger capacity.

We see all the features which distinguish the new iPad 3:

• The new iPad has a dispaly in high resolution 2048 x 1536 pixels well against the 1024 × 768 pixel resolution of iPad2.
• iPad 3 has powerful quad-core processor A5X, while the previous model is equipped with a powerful processor A5 but not as much as a quad-core.
• Enhanced and improved camera of 5 megapixels with autofocus and iSight filter, Face Detection, HD video recording (1080p) camcorder and front FaceTime. And iPad 2 is equipped with a wild 2-megapixel camera and HD video recording (720p)
• There is same design and size but the new iPad is slightly thicker than the previous one. It can be compared as 9.4 mm versus 8.8 mm and a weight of 662 g versus 613 g 2 iPad.
• Important new feature is the presence of wireless 4G missing and in case of the iPad 2, it is having standard Wi-Fi on all models.

In conclusion the new iPad is a combination of technology, the difference is evident with the predecessor, great tablet for those who want to surf at high speed with an ultra high resolution, excellent flow and very important factor is the presence of 4G technology.

There is no doubt that the choice is going for the Apple iPad 3 as this is the latest one. As being new, it is having many of the improvements over the iPad 2. So I dont think that someone is going to get the ipad 2 instead of ipad 3.
