Very poor LTE signal in Samsung Galaxy Note i717

In my area I have seen that there is a very poor lte signal in my phone and it keeps on switching between the lte and hspa. I just don’t understand is it the problem with my phone or my carrier or the area that I am living in. well I am new t my area and I am really surprised to see such poor connections out there. I haven’t met the locals over here and asked them about the network but still I feel that network capacity should be good. Anyways I just want to ask you all if the same is the problem in your area as well? that’s what I want to know. Do reply accordingly over here.

Are you into roaming or something. Since you have said that you are new to the area. If you are in the roaming then I would say that you might have been using the different carrier and hence that’s the reason why you might get a poor network.

There is one more possibility that the carrier that you are in now for your phone would be testing the lte in the area they might have not implemented LTE there that’s why a drop in the connection. Area or the location does play a pivotal role for networks. In some areas the network capacity is good and in some its not. you cant do much about it.

I don’t know it might be Verizon. Well my present carrier is AT&T. As such I don’t have a great piece of knowledge about the lte that’s why I would say you better tell me as if which network is good for my area. I stay in Columbia.

Verizon. It would be very difficult to roam on the Verizon network. Since your present carrier is AT&T and they use a different band as against Verizon both are having different bands for the network supply. So I don’t think so you will be roaming with Verizon check out for the carrier carefully.

See dude I am not getting to know on which network I am in currently since I get a strange number near the network like the one that I am getting right now is the 074723 instead of the normal AT&T. I right now enquired with one of my neighbor and she is saying that Verizon, U.S.Cellular, T-Mobile and AT&T are the networks that do work good in that area. I don’t understand what’s the problem with my phone. it’s a AT&T phone and hence I think it should work out really well.

Sorry guys if I am being a bit rude on this but it’s a bit frustration to have such a great phone and not have the lte network.

Hey what you can do is call up the ATT support and enquire from them as if what’s wrong and just ask from them whether your location has the lte support or not. Probably they are the one’s who can give you a proper detail about the same. so you can go ahead and ask from them they will surely answer it out for you.
