I am willing to get Nokia lumia 610 but then I am not that tech savy as well, anyways I just wanted to know, does it has a gpu, I think so it has but then I am not very sure about the same, is there anyone who has been using the same and has a complete idea about it???

I think that you might have not checked out the specification of the Nokia lumia 610, it do have a gpu, below is the short specification that I have found:
"CPU Count: Single CPU
CPU Type: 7227A Snapdragon S1
CPU Clock Rate: 800 MHz
Graphics Processor: Adreno 200"
