    Map are not updating in TomTom VIA 1535

    I got a gift TomTom VIA 1535 from my uncle it’s quit nice as I can navigate wherever I go but you have to update it for the new features. The problem with my tomtom is that when I try to update the map then there is a problem you can say that the downloading error. first it remove the old version then download the new version then it connects to the tomtom website then it states the connection is lost . Please help me?

    See you have to check the following things before you want to update your device. The things are first that you are getting the access to the internet properly without any issue. There are several issues such as firewall, antivirus etc. then you have to see the hardware content also such as the port of tomtom application. Then first thing that you will do is to clear the catche i.e of browser and mytomtom application then set the unknown network symbolizing as trusted network. While doing these just check that there is no power failure.
