According to me you should install ubuntu in your laptop. My laptop was also running solw with windows 7 and one my friend suggested me to use Ubuntu and then I have installed ubuntu in my laptop and after installing Ubuntu in my laptop started working like a charm. You should also try Ubuntu in your laptop.
