    Tips for kindle 4 nt

I purchased a new Kindle 4 non touch for reading e-books. Can anyone give me some tips on how to use it or some useful tips on its functions?

One can set page refresh. It can be done as follows:
    a) On home screen, find menu.
    b) In the menu, find settings.
    c) Once in settings, on page 3 find ‘Refresh the E Ink for every page turn’.
    d) Enable it for refreshing the ink after every page turn

Importing pictures from old Kindle or from other devices like PC.
    1) Create a ZIP folder of images in source device (pc).
    2) Move the ZIP in Kindle 4’s My Documents folder.
    3) The ZIP of the images will give an icon of book.
    4) Open the book and view image as album.
The images should be of resolution less than 600 x 800. In full screen sometimes the newly uploaded images might look flaky. Changing page twice or thrice will clear it.

Importing collection of items from another device.
    i. On home screen, scroll down to find archived items.
ii. In archived items list, add other devices collection.
iii. after doing this, a list of all eligible devices is displayed. Select device preferred by you.
iv. After this is done, eBooks will start downloading in Collections.

I can help you with some keyboard shortcuts.
    • Hold the keyboard button for a couple of seconds. Simultaneously press the Menu button. After 5 seconds, your screen will flash. This will make a screenshot of your screen and save it in documents folder in .gif format.
    • Hold the keyboard button and simultaneously press Back button to refresh the page.
    • With Keyboard on, press keyboard button and simultaneously press left button to jump 7 letters back. Similarly, instead of left button, press right button to jump 7 letters forward.
