Express Port Replicator 2 freezes Toshiba Portege M780

I am using Toshiba Protégé M780. I recently purchased Express Port Replicator2. But whenever I connect it to my laptop, it freezes the working of my laptop. The internal fans too start giving out loud noise. I still have my old Express Port replicators with me. The old replicator never freezes my computer.

Any solution to this problem?

The new Express Port Replicator 2 does not recognize the fingerprint scanner. Because it detects the fingerprint scanner as an unknown device, it keeps trying to install the fingerprint scanner but fails. The older version of Express Port replicator used to ignore fingerprint scanner.

To solve this problem, you can disable finger print scanner or find a driver Express Port Replicator 2 to make it recognize or ignore Fingerprint scanner.
