Vista reboots and only work in Safe Mode on Toshiba Satelite A305-S6858

I own Toshiba Satellite A305-S6858. I used to work with Windows XP till now. But couple of days back, I upgraded it to Windows Vista. Now laptop reboots properly but when I boot it, it never loads Vista in normal mode. I have to use it in Safe mode. Any solution to my problem? Need it urgently as I can’t run much of applications on Windows Vista Safe Mode.

The problem described by you is one of the common problem that many people have encountered. There is a way to solve it. Follow the steps below:

1) Boot into Microsoft Vista safe Mode.
2) Get into system properties (sysdm.cpl).
3) In the advanced tab, you will find the Settings button at the bottom under startup & recovery.
4) If the ‘Automatically Restart. Is marked, clear it.
5) Set the small dump directory to ‘minidump’. [%SystemRoot%\Minidump]

This shall solve your current problem. But if you get blue screen error often or during start-up you’ll need to contact official website of Microsoft.
