You should first check boot order in your laptop and make sure that hard disk is above network choice. If hard disk is not above network choice in your laptop then you have to change the boot order in your laptop and after changing the boot order you have to check whether it makes any difference or not?

Yes I will also suggest you the same. When you start your Toshiba Satellite L655-S5158 laptop at that time you have to press F2 and then enter in to the BIOS menu and if hard disk is not above network choice then you need to correct setting from there. Now after that you have to save the BIOS setting in your laptop. After doing that you have to check whether you are getting same problem or not? as far as I know after trying this solution your problem will get solved.

Re: "No bootable device" message in Toshiba Satellite L655-S5158

I have tried to fix this problem by going in to the BIOS setting in my laptop and then changing the Boot order but after trying that also I get same problem. I have also try to solve this problem by resetting the BIOS to default but that does not make any difference.

Now what should I do to solve this problem?

When you turn on your Toshiba Satellite L655-S5158 at that time you have to press F8 key and after that you have to select “Last Known Good Configuration” option and then you have to see whether it makes any difference or not? if after that also you get same problem then you have to try to solve this problem by running the Recovery disk.

Well according to me this problem occurs when MBR is damaged or missing. To solve this problem you need to run operating system Boot disk in your laptop and after that you have to select repair option and after doing that it will solve your problem.

I am suggesting you this solution because same problem was occurred with me also and then I have tried this solution and my problem get solved. You can also try this solution.
