is playstation vita allowed on a plane?

does anyone know anything about this , actually I am planning to fly next month and I think I will be getting PlayStation Vita, so I need to know if we are allowed to carry this console in the play to kill the time . I would be really appreciate if anyone can help me on this thanks

I think that is not be the problem may be you need to turn off the Wi-Fi on the device and then you can use it .

No that Is not allowed on the plane I guess. I saw an article that mention that the electronic device can be cause interference with the mechanics / electrical on the plane and you need to shut down the device mainly cell phone and all

Yeah you can use the electronic device on the plane without any restriction on the plane . you have only shut down the device when the plane is about to land or take off. You can use any communication protocols like 3G which most likely won’t work on that height or the wifi . I already use my portable consoles, mobile , tablet and laptop on the flight so many time and the crew is well aware of that,

Yeah you are correct and in fact when I was on travelling in the plane they even had the wifi on it . I was using the wifi on my laptop while the plane was flying on the sky . so I can see anything that would put you in trouble using your Playstation Vita on the flight. They will just ask you to turn off the device while takeoff and landing
