Lenovo Essential B570 won’t Power on

I am having a big problem. I am using Lenovo Essential B570 which was working fine, there was no viruses also. But recently I am not able to start this laptop and when I press the power button, the power light would come up and HD light would also indicate activity but nothing comes up on the screen. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this laptop? Thanks

Its look like something is wrong with the hardware in your lenovo laptop and so therefore I would like to suggest you to reset CMOS. If that doesnt work then check the temperature of the laptop if it is too high. If it is a heating problem then you will need to clean dust out from the inside of the laptop and might also need to apply thermal paste on the CPU chipset.

There are lots of reason for this problem, some of them are listed below
    • Discharged battery
    • No external power supply is working
    • Faulty motherboard
    • Defective laptop power button

So, check all the things mentioned above and try to troubleshoot them to solve the issue.

Have you tried to remove the battery from the laptop and then connected the power adapter directly to the plug and check if the laptop gets powered on. If still there is no display on the screen then it seems that there could be a possible hardware problem. So, if your laptop is in warranty then try to RMA it for replacement or repair to the Lenovo support center.

Re: Lenovo Essential B570 won’t Power on

If the laptop does not turn on, the reasons may be like, burned PSU (power supply), the problem with the power socket (no contact), BIOS firmware corrupted (requires reset or re-flashing of BIOS), problem with the motherboard (short-circuit, burned chip). If the laptop is turning on for some time and then shutting down then it is an overheating problem.
