Lenovo thinkpad L520 automatically wakes up after Standby

My Lenovo L520 gets automatically wake up within few minutes after I put it in the standby mode or sleep mode. Initially I believed that there must be some mistakes committed by me due to which the laptop doesn’t properly goes into the standby mode. But later on I realized that there is something wrong with the system which is causing such problem.

Just wanted to know how many of you all have experienced this issue. I personally feel that this one is the most unique issue I have come across and I also believe that there may be hardly few people existing with this issue in their Lenovo laptop.

First of all let me tell you that the problem is not so unique, it happens a lot with lots of people not only in Lenovo laptop but also in other brand laptops.

Anyways for your problem I would suggest you the perfect solution:
Just test your thinkpad battery, do it by installing the Power Management software. And then later on also try to update the BIOS of the notebook and then check whether the issue still exists.

MY BIOS was already updated but then too I updated it from your given link. But the problem was solved after getting both the downloads from your given link, I don’t know what exactly made the difference but let me tell you one more think till now I have tried to put my laptop in standby mode just once, so I will be trying it more number of times and get confirmed that the issue is existing no more.
