    How to remove the touch features in Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet

    is there anyone here know anything about this I need to disable the touchscreen feature on the tablet . I actually want that my tablet only respond to the pen and noting else including figures . I looked in to every setting but not able to find any solution on this issue so can anyone help me to do what I am looking for I would be really appreciating this.

    This is not that hard to get all you need to do is to open the SimpleTap and double click on the Screen Lock .this will turn off the touch screen and in future you need the touch screen back on then you just do the same thing . I hate when I am drawing and the side of my hand make the cursor to move around. I thing this should consider as a bug and should be fixed so that we won’t required to turn it off all the time

    This will help
    1. Go to the Control Panel
    2. Over there you will see Pen and Touch
    3. Just uncheck the Use your finger for input option

    Thanks for the reply guys I really appreciate the but that all you people saying is not working for me. My tablet is installed on the Windows XP and simpletap option is not available there n the XP operating systems. And alo there is no finger for input option in the Control Panel setting Settings" icon in control panel you need to instaled the

    The XP do not support the touch you will not find any option for enable or disable the touch on it. If you want touch driver for XP you need to installed the touch driver for XP. Then you can do what you need to do . buty I would like to mention this , XP now become the lame since you X220 is brand new you should get rid of XP now and installed the windows 7 or 8
