Lenovo ThinkPad T400 does not with Advanced Dock and graphic card

I am using Lenovo ThinkPad T400 laptop and when I connect my laptop with Advanced Dock in which I have installed AMD Ati 2600XT graphic card at that time it does not boot. If try to start laptop after removing it from dock at that time it does not give any problem. what should I do to solve this problem?

You have mentioned that when you start laptop without connecting it with the dock at that time it does not give you problem and that is why I think there is something to work around with the BIOS setting. You should disable PCI express management from BIOS and after disabling that you have to connect your Lenovo ThinkPad T400 laptop with your advanced dock. To disable PCI express management you have to first restart laptop and then go to the BIOS menu. After doing that you have to go to the settings and then select power. Now you have to choose PCI Express Management and then disable that. After that save the setting and then you have to see whether it makes any difference or not?

If above solution does not fix this problem then I will suggest you to check whether new version of BIOS is available for your laptop or not. if new BIOS version is available then you have to update the BIOS and may be after updating the BIOS your problem will get solved.
