I am having a Nokia n8 and my system runs on Windows 7 under Virtual Box and the problem that I am facing is that the phone is not getting connected to the computer, is there anyone who has successfully updated N8 to Nokia Belle using Virtual Box 4.1.2 for Linux and can help me out as well??

I think that I can help you out here, just follow the below solution:

• First turn off the Windows 7 VM and after that in the USB part of the Settings dialog just enable the USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller and on the other hand just change the setting of the phone so that it connects via the PC Suite mode.
• After this turn on the Windows 7 VM and then Plug in the phone using the USB cable and after that you should not have any issues. Best of luck.
