Re: Google Chrome for Android officially Arrived

Google Android seeks to bring an experience similar to what we have on computers. That's something I noticed since we opened the browser. The interface saves enough similarities so that the first impression is very familiar: something we already know but adapted to a smaller screen size.

Chrome visually pleasing addition is very intuitive. Navigation is prioritized, after all this is the function of a browser. When we are in a web page and it will only see the top bar with button tabs. The menu is displayed as a vertical tab with the different options, symbol of Ice Cream Sandwich.

The main menu of the mobile version is just like its namesake desktop. A series of panels where we see the most visited pages.

Google has released Chrome in an optimized version for smart phones as well as tablet PCs with the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The browser offers interesting new features. Unfortunately, the mobile version of Chrome also has a disadvantage: Your browser does not support Flash content. Many Internet and video elements cannot program it to display. According to Adobe, there are no plans to work with Google on a Flash-supported version of Chrome. The Android browser is conventional but still gives it with Flash plug-in.

Re: Google Chrome for Android officially Arrived

Unluckily, Chrome for Android will be offered only from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it have to draw on Google's newest graphics acceleration / hardware for instance. Also note that Adobe Flash is not compatible, definitely a hard conclusion for Google but precipitated by pressure from Apple that was in open war against Flash technology. Indeed, Adobe has announced the discontinuation of development of Adobe Flash, Adobe is now focusing on HTML5 and Adobe Air. However, the mobile web is still far from being truly HTML5...
