Red screen pop ups with error message on my PS3

I am using PS3 from three months. I love my PS3. But now I have a problem with my PS3. When I turn on my PS3 then red screen pops ups with this message “A serious error has occurred. Contact technical support for assistance" How to solve this problem please help me.

I am having same problem with my PS3. “A serious error has occurred. Contact technical support for assistance" This message pop ups with the red screen. What is the reason behind it? It's really annoying. I am frustrated now. Can someone please help?

If you are able to access recovery menu then use option six. The option six is System Update. Then download the recent firmware onto a USB flash drive. Plug in this USB flash drive to your PS3 and then use recovery menu. Till light returns red press and hold the power button hold this button till three beeps. For reinstallation follow the instructions.

Thanks for the advice but your solution doesn’t work for me. I am still experiencing same problem and I am not able to figure out a way. I think I need to contact sony service center hope they will solve my problem.

I think this error message is generated by the operating system or the bios. The main reasons for this error message is
• faulty firmware
• Defected hard drive
• RAM failure

If you are unable to solve this problem kindly contact to the Sony service center they will solve your problem.
