Slow Wi-Fi performance on Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

as the title suggest, the performance of Wi-Fi is quite slow on Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. I cannot stream online video through the Wi-Fi connection . Stock ROM is not running and it is 3 meters away from the router. After doing speedtest.net is showing the speed of 36.5Mbps hence there is nothing wrong with the web speed. Can you tell me any solution to resolve the issue. Thanks a lot in advance.

I found that the issue was associated with TW launcher. What I am wanted to tell you that you should run all the data hungry apps with ADW EX LAUNCHER. You will definitely get the faster UI and data transfer .

I am not sure about but there could be an issue with tcp scaling size algorithm which has been not enabled by default. You can try the below mentioned command on Terminal
    Code:
    setprop net.tcp.buffersize.wifi 4095,131072,1596608,4096,16384,110208
after that you should restart player app and try with the media playback blacback over the Wi-Fi.
You can go back to default by running following.
    Code:
    setprop net.tcp.buffersize.wifi 4095,131072,196608,4096,16384,110208

In the situation of mine I have complied native cifs module for the kernel of this particular device. It should work better on the file explorer of the mounting samba or windows share and streaming of the files. You should set up a upnp server and try the above mentioned method.

The router of mine was having DDWRT firmware and it is running out of FFS2 memory. It is dedicated part of router flash memory in order to store the custom program or small webserver. I could not get the reason why it was enabled on the router but I simply disabled. After doing that I noticed great improvement in the LAN transfer speed. Also you can try with restarting the Wireless router and see whether it helps you.
