Keys not working on Sony Cyber-Shot DSC W150

I have bought a new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC W150 digital camera and when I have switched on the camera and started to take pictures but I am unable to take the pictures as not any button like home button, play button, slideshow button working on the camera and I have also tried the right, left, up ,down keys and DISP Button. I think it seems to be all the keys and buttons have stopped working please help me to get out of it.

If all the keys seems to be not working on your camera then maybe it is a battery problem because sometimes the key doesn’t respond when the battery is not full charged so just fully charge your battery and then try to press the keys.

I think you first check the following things on your Sony W150 camera:

1. Does the camera turn on without any problem?
2. Does the LCD screen works properly?
3. Does you have fully charge the battery?

If you have check all the above three things and they are working fine then all the buttons and keys should work and even if they are not working then I think you have some serious problem with your camera.

I think the button or keys on the digital camera only fails to response when the battery is not properly inserted or not fully charge so just ensure that the battery is properly inserted in the camera and have fully charge and you have already check this and still the keys not working then try to replace the camera if you bought it new.

I have properly inserted the battery in the camera the battery doesn’t have any problem and also my camera and LCD screen working fine but the only problem is with the keys and buttons of the camera. I cannot return the camera to Sony as I have failed to mention that I have bought this camera 2 years back and never used it till now I have check the warranty period which is already over so I think I have to spend some money to repair the camera or I will buy some different one.
