I think that the Samsung Series 9 11.6" (NP900X1A-A01US) is better than the Samsung Series 9 13.3". I have heard that many users are getting issues with wifi card in Samsung Series 9 13.3 but I don’t know whether the issue persist in Samsung Series 9 11.6 but I can hope that it is already resolved.

• The Broadcom wifi card is working very well as in Samsung 13.3". On speedtest, I get comparable speeds.
• Upgrading to Intel 6230 wifi card is easy, just swap.
• Upgrading to 128GB SSD is easy too.
• The memory is not upgradable.
• Easy Battery replacement.
• There is no recovery partition on 64GB SSD but there is an option for Recovery Disc.

I will soon going to get the 11.6" but still these models are lacking in good reviews. So far I didn’t see any kind of reviews made on this or comparing with others. It is good to hear that there is no problem with wifi.

But what about the battery life and the screen?

As these models comes with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000, I don’t think that it will give a good impressions.

• I am using the 11.6". As my experience tells there is no doubt about the Battery life, it is very good.
• If I use this device just for internet/word processing, I get almost 6 hours.
• The Matted screen is excellent which is very bright
• I can’t comment about the graphics as I didn’t check it. I don’t play games.

I think that the Samsung 11.6" is the best choice for web-browsing and office the Samsung has been first choice for me. This is same for 480P movies. However I never trued the streaming or HD yet. The device is very silent during all operations. But the battery seems warming up very quickly when charging it. So due to this the fan runs faster and makes more noise. However you can control this using Samsung Control feature.
