Samsung SF310 touchpad not working

I have recently purchased Samsung SF310 laptop and I am having trouble in the touchpad. The pointer does not go over the place I exactly want. This issue is annoying me. What should I do now???? Please help me friends. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think you should use the latest driver because Samsung SF310 are old one. New touchpad should have new drivers installed in it.you should check the touchpad settings and set them properly. Also check for the touchpad’s website. Disable the features. Try if it is working and give me a feedback.

I have done as u said when I searched in device manager it said me that I have the latest driver.I didn’t find drivers in Samsun’s website Samsung, I can't any recent driver to install. After that I disable options under ELAN options, the pointer got even less precise and sensitive.

I think you should go to the Samsung store nearby you and surrender your laptop to them. They will take care of your laptop. There are trained and skilled professionals in the store who will repair your laptop practically and properly. If the laptop cannot be repaired it would be replaced if you have warranty card. If you will have warranty card they will repair your laptop for free. Kindly give me your feedback if it helps. Thanks.

I think you should call Samsung customer service centre to help you to fix this issue. The will give you the exact information about how to repair your laptop. They will give you the procedure how to do it you have to note down and then do it by yourself . Here is some customer service centre no- 800-888-8448, 888-483-2600.
