How to add the add custom ringtones in Samsung Focus S 4G

hi guys I am new to the windows mobile and I really don’t have any idea how to use it properly . somehow I am not able to get a custom ringtone on the phone . I am following everything properly but nothing is working I to MP3 song that is non-DRM which is 38 sec long about 600 kbs and set the Genre to ringtone but not able to sync it on to my phone , unable to find it in the ringtone list . is there anyone here know anything about this I would be glad to know this pleas guys I really need help

For what I have known this is only possible if you're having the mango you can or else so I've been told someone correct me if I'm wrong . but I guess Samsung Focus S 4G runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango ,although never used any windows phone

Adds to your Zune library on the computer locate the file on your computer and go to edit, then edit the genre of the mp3 type in ringtone after that sync to device

Once you sync it to your handset it will be in your ringtones division in settings at the top you be able to apply it as your handset ringtone from there

I have came across the app names myxer app which has ringtones you be able to download directly to your handset . I never have been used it but I hope this will help

Just ChevronWP7 unlocked devices do support custom ringtones. I mean later than when r you have unlocked your phone make use of one of the following apps:

1. Chevron ringtone installer you require to change your ringtone first to wma format
2. Then get the RingRing7 my personal preferred for the reason that of the built-in converter
3. Now the WP7 Device Manager Beta

There is certain criteria that need to be filled before sound file can be use as the ring tone

• First of all the song should 39 seconds or shorter
• The size of the song must be smaller than 1 MB
• The files should be added in format of saved in MP3 or WMA format
• Last but not the lest it should not be copy-protected that is DRM free

Really very ridicules I had the same issue with the custom ringtone and mine is not working as well . I had to do was use iTunes on the Mac and Windows Phone Connector . has no issue sync the music well however I am not able to sync the ringtones
